International Knowledge Forum

The School of Architecture (FARQ) of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León through its Graduate Studies and Research Department, as an institution dedicated to educating professionals and researchers, has created this space devoted to spreading knowledge.

The International Knowledge Forum at FARQ is a space composed of a series of lectures, conferences and discussion panels with the participation of local, national and international researchers. Who seek to promote their innovative scientific work by sharing their professional contributions.

During the Forum’s previous editions, a great number of researchers and personalities in architecture, design and urban planning have participated, their contributions led to an enriching interchange of experiences that contributed to our students’ professional development, from all levels, within our community.

Now, for our 5th edition, which will be held on September 26th, 27th and 28th, we would like to invite members of the academic and scientific community who seek to share and spread their ideas and contributions to science in the fields of design, architecture and urban planning.

The Postgraduate and Research Department at the School of Architecture of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León invites: Researchers, research groups, graduates, teachers, students and those interested in innovating research and higher education in architecture, urban planning and design to submit their presentations to the: THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL KNOWLEDGE FORUM

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING PRESENTATIONS

1. Those interested must send an abstract with the following characteristics must be sent: 300 words (max.), PDF format letter size, font: Times New Roman, font size: 12 points, double line spacing, normal 2.5 cm. margins on all sides.

2.The cover of the document should include the following characteristics:

– The title of the presentation (15 words max.)

– Author’s or authors’ personal information (name, last names, degree of study)

– Main topics covered (Architecture, Urban Planning, Design and/or Education in the previous fields).

3. Three to five keywords in Spanish and English.
4. Quotations must follow the APA format (7th edition).
5. Send your file to the email address: ficfarq@gmail.com from August 1st to August 27th of this year.

GUIDELINES FOR MANUSCRIPT FORMAT:

Speakers and authors who wish to publish a manuscript about their conference in our scientific journal “Cuadernos de Arquitectura y Asuntos Urbanos”, the official publication of the International Knowledge Forum indexed in Latindex, will have to send it from October 3rd to the 7th of 2022 to the email address: ficfarq@gmail.com. Every manuscript will go through several reviews. Follow the guidelines below to submit your work:

1. The cover of the document should include these characteristics:

– The title of the manuscript (15 words max.).

– Author’s or authors’ personal information (name, last names, degree of study).

– Main topics covered (Architecture, Urban Planning,

Design and/or Education in the previous fields).

2. Add the 300-word abstract and the 3 to 5 keywords previously sent before the text.

3. Manuscripts must be presented in letter size, single spaced, in Times New Roman font 12 points, with an extension between 4,000 and 10,000 words presented in a maximum of 25 pages (including tables, figures, bibliographic notes and references).
